President: Melanie Morrison CPM

Melanie Morrison, CPM, is a co-owner and Designated Broker for Morrison, Ekre & Bart Management Services, a women-owned fee management firm based in Arizona. MEB has two offices in Arizona (Phoenix and Tucson), manages over 17,000 units in five different states, and employs over 500 real estate professionals. MEB is celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year.

Melanie recently served as the 2006 Chairman of the Board for the Arizona Multi-Housing Association where she has been on the board for most of her career. She is currently serving on the Tucson Metropolitan Housing Commission and is actively involved in the National Apartment Association and the National Multi-Housing Council.

Melanie is also active in the Tucson volunteer community. She is past Chairman of the Board for New Beginnings for Women and Children, a non profit organization whose mission is to assist homeless families achieve permanent self-sufficiency. Melanie is also a singer-songwriter with two albums out. All proceeds from her current CD “On The Inside” are donated to help end homelessness. So far over, $10,000 has been donated. Melanie recently joined with the Arizona Multi Housing Association in a fund-raising effort that raised over $100,000 to help end homelessness.

Treasurer: Vicki Caruso CPM ARM

Vicki Caruso, CPM®, ARM® is General Manager of Liberty National Enterprises/ Tucson Properties L.L.C, located in Tucson, Arizona, where she supervises a varied Multi-Family Community with 850–1600 units. Vicki Caruso supervises a staff of 24-48 employees and is responsible for accounts payable, receivable, staffing, marketing, budgeting, etc. As General Manager, Vicki has been maximizing occupancy and rents, allowing ownership to realize increased value upon sale. Before becoming General Manager of Liberty National Enterprises, Vicki was a Property Supervisor for Tucson Realty and Trust, where her portfolio consisted of commercial office buildings, strip centers, and residential multi-family communities.

Vicki has been involved with property management for over 25 years, including multifamily, commercial, and home owner associations. Vicki has held her ARM designation for 25 years and her CPM designation for 20 years. She has been an active member of IREM and has been a faculty member for over 18 years. Vicki has facilitated many IREM courses, both classroom and online, with fortes in marketing and financials.

Mary Martin

Pinned in 2008, Mary C. Martin, ARM, currently holds her Real Estate License and has been in the industry since 1997. Mary started out as a Leasing Consultant, she held other positions prior to her current one of Property Manager for the past 7 years. She has been employed with MEB Management Services for 7 years and was Arizona Multihousing Association 2009 Property Manager of the Year 1-199 units.

Mary is very active as a volunteer for the Arizona Multihousing Association Big Hearts for Little Hands an organization that helps shelters in Arizona for homeless women and children. She was the 2009 co-chair and has been on the committee for 5 years. Mary has raised the most money per property and units for the last five years totaling over $9000.00 for Big Hearts for Little Hands the proceeds have gone to a non-profit organization New Beginnings for Women and Children in Tucson, AZ. Mary has also been actively involved with IREM fundraisers as well.

Mary is also Vice President and Treasurer of the neighborhood association where the property she manages is located and lives as well.
